Speak Up

Speak Up is a project that aims to help others learn the English language. More specifically, Speak Up teaches nurses of TUCCA with lessons prepared by the project's volunteers. They are able to learn the conversational side of English and the appropriate situations to use specific wording. Speak Up will now branch out to members of the fundação and their parents so they have a smooth transition to the St. Paul's community.

In plus, Speak Up works to help others learn the English language, develop conversational skills in the language, and generally have a broad vocabulary that will enable them to communicate swiftly with others in English.

Previous Projects:

1

Speak Up managed to successfully teach English to children in Maximiliano.

2

Speak Up has also been teaching English to the TUCCA staff every week.

Upcoming projects

Speak Up will now work to broaden its classes and warmly welcome the students and parents from the fundação as it has come to the project's attention that the parents struggle when it comes with being involved with the school community. Speak Up is also on the search for textbooks and other materials that will help amplify pupils' learning even further as they will be able to practice on their own.
